New Board member, List of Commitees

Thank you to all the residents that expressed an interest in joining the POP board. We had a very positive response with 4 applications. All applicants were well qualified and any one of them would have be a great addition.  One did have to be selected and the new board member will be Karen Dusevitch 24 Delano Ave.

We truly hope to keep the other applicants Nancy Pasquerella, Rob Zierten, Angela Guarino Sawaya and the full community involved.  Please remember joining the POP committees does not require a seat on the board, an interest in our beach community is all that is needed.  We hope we can attract and use all the many talents of our neighbors to improve the Pines.

The current committees are

The Communications committee is focused on community communications and the members  

• Meet your Neighbor Night, Newsletter, email lists, New Members, life events of the pines residents, the community issues

The Events committee is focused on Fund raising and Events

•  Money makers and event planning to help fund the other parts of the association 

·The Improvements committee is focused on beach improvements and environmental concerns

• Fixing walkways, Beach clean ups, walkway clearing and other environmental issues 

  The Legal committee is in charge of general policy and Security

• Reviewing Bylaws, Updating signage and identifying issue before they arise, maintaining current state of business, Security and overseeing the other committee issues for legality

The POP board would be pleased if we can involve our full community in these activities.
